mp software package provides pretty-printer for email messages and other text files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mp
mp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mp *
You will get with mp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
